I like 240SX and AE86 as much as the next guy, but its nice now and then to show something else…and that is what this post is for. It will be fairly short, but at least there was a wide selection of non standard drift cars at Thunderhill Sunday.

I love old Cressidas, there is just something cool about a RWD 4door drifting.
the guys over at Sweet Oblivion took a liking to this car the last time I was up at Thunderdrift. I still want to build one some day as a DD.

This Lexus was in the grip class. Even still it was dead sexy and pretty pimp out on track.

Another clean toyota(do we see a trend here) This time an OG Mk II Supra.
It was as clean under the hood as out side. Not to many Mk II Supras running around, so it was good to see a hella clean one on track.

Hey, what do you know…another Supra.

Works had there RWD Converted Evo out there drifting..

One of the two FC RX7 that were at the track, both in the grip class.

and the other FC, this one a little rough around the edges.

A new STi, been seeing a lot of them around the bay…I do like them.
One of the few cars I would swap my Evo for.

A Nissan Sentra SE-R, do we also see a trend with all the non-240sx/ae86 gripping…
there were a few other cars, Civics, MX-5 and an Evo, but I didn’t get clear or clean shots of them.
So that’s it for now.
Moar from Thunderdrift…Anyone want a mustache ride?

okay a couple of things.
did you SEE under the hood of the silver celica/supra? SO beautiful.
oh and the sentra! I went out for a grip session in a relatively new, relatively fast BMW and I actually had to work to pass this guy! he was FAST! props to him, I love those cars. Had a non SE-R one as a street car and loved it.
yup. I got a shot under the hood of that supra..
Hell you could eat off the engine it was so clean!
