I can now proudly announce that the Sierra Sierra team is the first US team to confirm entry in the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney in May. To say I am happy is an understatement. Not only is the Sierra Sierra car exceptionally fast but also extremely well presented and I am sure Dennis and his team are up to the task of taking on the fastest cars from Japan and Australia and will certainly be flying the American flag high. I can also tell you that we do have another top US team that has also confirmed, and another leading Japanese team that has run in the low 56 second bracket two years ago at Tsukuba and has also now entered. This particular team has in fact done a serious rebuild on this car just to come to this event and claim it to be much faster in testing than its previous guise and we will be announcing these exciting entries in the coming weeks just to keep everyone in suspense, so please dont ask me who these teams are because I cant tell you just yet but keep your eye on World Time Attack Challenge 2010 – Superlap. We have had enormous interest from around the world and I thank everyone for their support. We are now certain of an absolute star studded field that is for sure and also have a huge media contingent heading down under to catch the action.
